1. Overview of the Service
SpiritWhispers enables readers to create, store, and share audio readings with clients. Core features include audio recording and upload, AI-powered transcription, notes, and share links.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges per the plan terms.
Pricing and features may change; changes will apply at renewal or with reasonable notice.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in line with applicable law and our fair use principles. Contact support for help.
4. Acceptable Use
No unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content.
No attempts to bypass security, misuse shared links, or overload the Service.
No uploading content you do not have the right to distribute.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of your audio, transcripts, notes, and other content.
You grant SpiritWhispers a limited license to process and store your content solely to provide and improve the Service (e.g., storage, playback, transcription, sharing you initiate).
You may delete sessions at any time; deletion removes active copies from storage. Backups/logs may persist for a limited period.
6. Third‑Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage.
We may use AI transcription providers (e.g., Groq/Whisper-equivalent) to convert audio to text.
We use Stripe for payments and Resend (or equivalent) for transactional email.
These providers process data only as needed to deliver the Service. We do not permit model training or marketing use of your content.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS and cloud-provider encryption at rest to safeguard data in transit and storage.
Access to resources is restricted to authenticated users and governed by role-based rules. Share links can be revoked at any time.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account and share links you create.
9. Usage Limits & Fair Use
We may enforce reasonable limits on recording duration, upload size, storage, or API usage to protect service reliability.
We may update limits over time; current limits are shown in the app or account page.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security/abuse risks.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically issue refunds.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We do not provide medical, legal, or financial advice; readings are for guidance and entertainment. Use your own judgment in all decisions.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpiritWhispers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits/revenue, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
13. Affiliate Disclosure
Our blog and certain pages may include affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate programs may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute referrals. These are managed by the third party (e.g., Amazon) and are subject to their policies.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
